Freddie Gibbs Acquitted in Austrian Sexual Assault Case
Freddie Gibbs has been acquitted of sexual assault in a case that has kept him incarcerated in Austria for the past four months. Gibbs was arrested back in June after a woman alleged that he drugged her drink and assaulted her while she was incapacitated backstage at one of his shows. He was charged with the crime in August and things did not look good for the Gary, IN rapper’s chances of walking free.
He has now been exonerated by a court in Vienna. According to a statement from his attorney, Gibbs is understandably ecstatic and is on his way back to the States to reunite with his family.
