[ThursdayFocus] The Remixes Vol. II

Back in January we gave you Vol. 1 which contained some of the best remixes from our artists and now we’re back for Vol. II.

[ThursdayFocus] The Instrumentals

ThursdayFocus is back once again and this week we are focusing purely on the instrumental tracks made by the producers from our collective.

Some of the tracks were beats made with the intention of an artist using them, and some were made just as a way for the producers to express their own artistic ideas. Either way, we’ve picked some of our favorites so click play and enjoy!

[ThursdayFocus] Sounds for Summer

Although it is not yet officially summer, in many places it definitely already feels that way. So for this week’s installment of ThursdayFocus, we wanted to put you on to a few tracks that should be part of your summer playlists. Click play and enjoy!

[ThursdayFocus] The Boom Bap Tracks

Despite the charts being dominated by trap music these days, many of us Hip-Hop fans still love the boom bap sound and it it still an important part of rap music.

So for this week’s ThursdayFocus we’re celebrating those hard hitting boom bap raps and drums with some of the best songs and instrumentals from the squad. Listen below!

[ThursdayFocus] The Experiments

When an artist keeps making the same 2 or 3 songs it gets boring, right? So this week we wanted to celebrate the times when artists from TheDREAMERS have tried expanding their audio repertoire.

DEV.DEV trades his usual upbeat sound for something a little darker and more downtempo.

Sey surfs over Newdarkage production which feels like Boards of Canada meets trap.

Not just a 2-in-1 track or a track with switch-ups. AX’s ‘Collage’ aims to be exactly what the title suggests.

Gordo gets grimy over production which feels like a demonic mixture of Atlanta trap and UK grime.

Newdarkage is no stranger to being experimental but the use of the sampled dialogue here creates an unusual narrative in that it takes you to somewhere you’re not sure you want to be.

Secret Lion goes retro with his Stranger Things inspired ‘Eleven’ .

Ivol and John Berry’s collab goes from feeling grungy to uplifting in a strange-yet-comforting back and fourth manner.

[ThursdayFocus] The Remixes Vol. I

Recently, Sey and Ryan Racks put out a fresh collab with their remix of Sey’s ‘Horizon’ so we figured we’d compile some of the best remixes from everyone here at TheDREAMERS.

So go ahead and taken a listen to the remixes below and if you like what you hear, be sure to give the artists a follow on their Soundclouds.
